House Clearance

Moving home or office is not an easy task. Here at Dooley Contract Services we can’t do that for you, but we do offer a professional and reasonable House Clearance service. Or flat, or office. If you need someone to move your stuff from A to B, then many companies will be able to assist, We can only remove your stuff from A, hopefully because you don’t actually want to see it again. There aren’t  any recent examples detailed in our blog yet, but if you subscribe you will see these when we do. But you’ll have to take our word for it and look at the waste clearance jobs to know that we are good at taking things away. It’s also amusing to watch us try to navigate your discarded possessions out of the property and up into the van, ensuring they fit in Tetris like to preserve space.

So if you want someone to take the hassle away from a full house that needs clearing, then we are your boys. Like the aforementioned waste removal, our vans can only take a certain weight and volume in one go, so prices depend on those metrics. So the best thing to do is give us a call so we can discuss details and we’ll advise you the best we can.

Where possible Dooley Contract Services like to recycle your once loved belongings. But some things can’t be recycled and will need to go to the dump. The Sussex council do not allow marked vans into local tips which are for household waste, so we take this to a special commercial dump. Here we are charged by weight due to land-fill taxes and we have no choice but to pass this cost on to our customers. When we view what there is to remove, you may be surprised about the quote given. This is not because we are more expensive than other companies, and you are welcome to research to confirm that.

As detailed here, local councils state: “Hardcore, soil, plasterboard, bonded asbestos and tyres are not classified as ‘household waste’ under the Regulations imposed by Central Government, and as such we do not have to accept these materials at the household waste recycling sites and pay for their onward disposal/recycling. The County Council only has a statutory duty to accept and pay for the disposal/recycling of ‘household waste’.”

We strive for a competitive price though, so you can consider our quote a reasonable offer. If you can get a cheaper offer elsewhere, we hold no grudges.

Our experts are ready to talk to you today to discuss what we can offer you so call us to arrange a site visit on 07973 821410 or complete the below form for a call-back.
